Ruby 040 series pumps are preferred in processes where fluid transfer will be made at flow rates that cannot be met by pumps in lower numbered series. The Ruby 040 series has a high flow rate of 360 liters per minute. If you want to visualize this figure, it can be said that enough fluid passes through the pump to fill roughly 19 carboys in one minute at the maximum flow rate.
